Welcome to Running Club!
Dear Students and Parents,
We are excited to welcome you to our Running Club this school year! Running Club will only take place during our designated "Running Day" in Physical Education (PE) class. We will begin the week of October 21st .
On Running Days, students who wish to participate in Running Club will continue running laps around the field, while students who do not want to be in the club will finish their laps and then move to the pavilion to participate in another activity.
Running Club is a great way to stay active, improve your cardiovascular fitness, and have fun with your peers. We encourage all students to give it a try, but participation is completely voluntary.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me, Coach Galvan. We look forward to an exciting year of Running Club!
Sincerely,
Coach Galvan

In an effort to increase open-mindedness and celebrate the many cultures represented on our campus, we would like to host an International Festival. We are looking for interested families who would like to share an aspect of their cultures such as food, craft demonstration, or a musical/dance performance with the school community during an event to be held in the evening. We are in the early planning stages and need volunteers to make this event a success.
Please complete a short survey if you are interested in presenting your culture during the festival using this link: bit.ly/WPInternationalFest

First Grade hosted a Job Fair this morning to begin their new Unit of Inquiry: How the World Works with a focus on how jobs impact communities. Parents and other community partners shared their jobs and some of the tools they use in their jobs with our first graders.

Windsor Park received recognition as a Purple Star Campus for our campus efforts to provide a welcoming environment for our military families. We are honored to be able to serve our military community and to make sure that children of military families have a wonderful experience during their time with us. A huge congratulations to Mr. Figueroa who put together the application and brought this goal to fruition for our campus.
